A Little Walk

The other day, Kimmie and I went on a little walk.It had just rained, and the air was fresh and clean.

I had always wanted Kimmie to see this cute cul-de-sac near where we live, so we departed...

Now.... these are what should have been back-gardens, but they were in fact off the driving way.




I thought this was a really beautiful tree.

Certainly the sort I would love to find in our garden.

Another pretty 'back garden'.

It seem that when someone takes the effort to glorify their little plot, those of next door also follow the same effort.

This small neighbourhood has certainly got it right !!!



That is a house that Kimmie loved...
The white flowers and growing plant covering the whole of the wall of the house, that would otherwise be simply common.

The Phone Call!

I should know better than to answer the phone when I'm alone.
Well, I did and Sylvain's papa was on the other end.
It felt like we talked for an entire 5 minutes though the whole
conversation was him speaking French and me, English.
I pretty much have no idea what he said!
That didn't seem to stop us from talking!!!
What a pleasant voice from such a kind man.
He made me laugh just hearing him laugh.
Sorry, papa, but it was nice talking to you still.

That was hard work; it took us two whole months to do but, hey.... it was a really hard 500 pieces puzzle... For us anyway :)

Welcome to our house :)

This is our nifty little house, built in 2004, and placed in a little cul-de-sac of only 4 houses.

As you will see, these cute nearly detached 1 bedroom dwelling places are pretty.

The feel of it is so restful and warm....

Today, our lovely neighbour has come to visit us for a cup of coffee.

We are lucky, if not blessed to have such good neighbours on both sides.
